The Turnabout Voicetest

This is a voice test for Phoenix Wright of Ace Attorney fame! Feel free to throw people here.

Some general guidelines:

-I'm primarily testing him with a Dual Destinies canon point. I still am welcoming of a few prompts for earlier time periods and possibly AUs, though, as long as they don't dominate. (Except that I don't think I can brain Hobo!Phoenix at this time)
-Nothing really explicitly shippy; I don't think I even have any shipping preferences with him just yet. But general fluff is fine.
-I'm not exactly sure about specific kinds of scenarios I'd like to play beyond one: working to unlock someone's Psych-Locks? And maybe emotional canon talks.
-Feel free to plunder the Random Scenario Meme for ideas (Leaving out sex of course)? I also welcome generic jamjar scenarios and text message threads.

[Oh man, Clay couldn't help letting out a burst of laughter from Apollo's reaction, loud and jovial as always. He loves catching him off guard like that.

But the next part, well... He goes from grinning like a fool to something way more unimpressed. CLAY IS DISAPPOINT.]

Wait, seriously, dude? I know I look different, but how can you forget your best friend ever? [He covers up the bridge of his nose with his finger, hiding the little scar that only a very select few people ever got to see (Phoenix was a fluke, okay).] Do I need my bandage back? Is it the hair? The dress? [He kicks one of his feet lightly; it is a bit, er... drafty, but he's not about to complain.]

[Well as much as Apollo couldn't believe it, he couldn't deny that was exactly how Clay spoke. There was silence, as if Apollo wasn't sure of what to do or to say next. And than, there was a faint smile on his face.]

Of course not, but that dress doesn't suit you at all. [Emotions were welling up inside him. He was actually having a conversation with his best friend? He was actually here with him again?]

[And the last horse crosses the finish line...

Phoenix looks a little emotional, though, looking on. It's very fulfilling now to watch them talk. He remembers what it was like to see Mia again, and now Apollo can feel the same magic through some good old-fashioned Kurain spirit summoning.

He will just... watch in the background now for the most part unless spoken to.]

[And the million-watt smile is back on, because now Apollo gets it. He tugs at the shoulder of the dress - it's a bit tight, but whatever, it's fine.]

What are you talking about, I'm like a star in this outfit! I think this lady's got some great fashion sense.

[... His smile softens a little then, as he steps closer towards his friend. And once he's closed the distance some, he grabs Apollo by his upper arm,]

C'mere, you -

[- And pulls him in for a big and tight bear hug. In all the time Clay's seen him in spirit form, Apollo's been looking like he needed one for a long time, and Clay can freely admit that he kind of needed one, too.]
