The Turnabout Voicetest

This is a voice test for Phoenix Wright of Ace Attorney fame! Feel free to throw people here.

Some general guidelines:

-I'm primarily testing him with a Dual Destinies canon point. I still am welcoming of a few prompts for earlier time periods and possibly AUs, though, as long as they don't dominate. (Except that I don't think I can brain Hobo!Phoenix at this time)
-Nothing really explicitly shippy; I don't think I even have any shipping preferences with him just yet. But general fluff is fine.
-I'm not exactly sure about specific kinds of scenarios I'd like to play beyond one: working to unlock someone's Psych-Locks? And maybe emotional canon talks.
-Feel free to plunder the Random Scenario Meme for ideas (Leaving out sex of course)? I also welcome generic jamjar scenarios and text message threads.

[It was the evening after the long trial against the Phantom and Apollo was back at the Wright Anything Agency with a handful of paperwork on him. Winning a trial still didn't mean they could avoid handling legal documents. It was just him at the office as everyone had headed over to Eldoons for some celebration noodles. Apollo ended up getting the short end of the straw and had to drop off the papers before joining them. That was just his luck with these sort of things.

As he was making his way out of the office, his luck takes a turn for the worse as he suddenly felt a sharp pain throughout his body. He found himself on the ground a moment later. Apparently his miraculous recovery weren't quite that miraculous. Now that he wasn't concentrating on winning a trial, his body was reminding him how exhausted he really was after pushing himself.]

[Argh, come on! I can't miss out on all the celebrating!]

[Apollo managed to get himself onto the couch, but that was about it. Hopefully, just sitting on the couch for a bit will help him and he could join the others soon. He pulled out his phone and thought for a moment that maybe he should call Mr.Wright that he would be a little late, but then he probably wonder what was going on. But even if he didn't tell him, he would call anyway. Ugh, it's a lose-lose situation, and the last thing he wanted to do was to have people worry about him after winning an important trial. With a sigh, he decided to just call him.]

[Apollo was pretty much born with the short end of the straw in his mouth.

Phoenix was waiting for the first round of order to arrive at Eldoon's when he heard his very distinctive ringtone going off. One quick look at the screen - it's Apollo - and he quickly answers.]

Apollo? What's up?

Uh...hey, Mr. Wright. [For some reason he was at a loss of words trying to actually tell Wright what was going on. He just felt embarrassed about his current predicament.]

I just thought I give you a call and let you know I'll be running late. Don't worry though, I'm fine, just...gonna be a little late.

[...He's in some kind of embarrassing predicament, isn't he.]

That's a shame. Any idea how long? [He tries to sound casual, even if he feels a little concerned already.] Is everything alright?

Yea, everything's fine! I just...everything that happened during the trial just caught up with me. [Sounded better than saying, I'm in pain.]

Anyway, don't hold up on the celebrating cause of me. I'll try to be there soon. (I hope.)

Do you need someone to talk to? I can head over there right away. I don't mind missing out on a round of noodles.

What? Oh, you don't have to do that Mr. Wright! I said I was fin-

[He thought getting up to reassure himself would be a good idea. It sadly backfires as he ends up falling back onto the floor and yelling in a ridiculous fashion while he was at it.]

[You're Apollo Justice and you're not fine.]

Apollo! What happened? That doesn't sound like a Chords of Steel practice!

(So much for not worrying others.)

Ah...I just fell, that's all. The office is kinda hard to navigate in the dark, probably should have turned on the light.

[Slowly, but surely he'll get himself back up. In pain, but he was standing at least.]

A-Anyway I shouldn't be much longer, so don't worry. I'll see you guys soon! [And he decided to hang up then before Wright asked him anymore questions. He'll just take it slow and he'll get there. No problem, he thought as he limped his way to the door. He couldn't let this stop him, no way!]

[And then the call's over, and very abruptly. Something's not right, he knows it. Even if there isn't, he doesn't see any harm in cutting back to the office for a bit. He's able to make a quick excuse and head off. Luckily Athena's in the bathroom so he doesn't have to risk lying directly to her - as valuable a help as she could be, he didn't want to worry her too after everything that trial had put her through.

And so, as fast as he can manage on foot, he heads back to the office to go Polly-watching.]

[Wright wouldn't need to go all the way back to the office. Apollo had managed to leave the office and was heading his way towards Eldoons when he came across Wright. ]

Ah, Mr. Wright! What are you doing here? (Keep calm, act natural. Nothing out of the ordinary here.) [Eventhough he failed to hide the fact Wright startled him]

[Nice to see you too, Apollo. Well, no need beating around the bush...]

I just came back to check on you. Did everything go alright over in the office?

Y-Yea. Everything went fine! I just couldn't see where I was walking and tripped over something.

[Not completely a lie, right? He winced when he ran his hand through his hair out of habit.]

You didn't have to come all the way here to check on me. I was already on my way.

Apollo... I might not have your powers of perception, but I don't think I need it to know that something's up.

Or, if something's really not up at all... [He confidently grips his Magatama in his hand.] Just look me in the eyes and tell me. Alright?

(...I'm not sure why I even try with Mr. Wright.)

[He sighs] Well...I didn't exactly fully recovered from my injuries. With everything that was happening during the trial, I just forgot all about them. It's nothing serious though! [He quickly reassures] I just have to be careful for the rest of the night.

[I'm getting better at this whole 'older confidant' thing.]

And then what are you going to do? Apollo, if you're not fully recovered, shouldn't you kind of be at a hospital...?

It's not that bad that I need to go back to the hospital! I'm walking around just fine, aren't I? So I'm sure sitting around and enjoying noodles with everyone shouldn't be a problem.

If you're so sure... Fine, we'll head back to the noodle place together. How does that sound?
