Two voice tests for the price of one! Feel free to ask for either or both of these characters from Steven Universe.

Steven Universe is a goofy kid who wants to be friends with everyone. But he's also half human and half-Gem, which gives him special powers, and he's learning to try to use those powers to help protect the people he cares about as well as the Earth in general and to help out the three Crystal Gems who raised him.

Greg Universe is his father, a happy-go-lucky guy who used to be one-man rock band and currently runs a car wash. He's always eager to spend time with his son and be supportive of him, even if his very wary of the danger that comes with the life of being a Gem.

General guidelines:
-I am fully up to date on the series, so I can work with any canon point! I would probably prefer to play from most recent points, however.
-No smut. And in terms of shipping, only Steve/Connie and Rose/Greg.
-Otherwise pretty much everything is game! Except probably keeping things from getting too dark/bleak. Feel free to use a random scenario meme or a RP Scenario Generator for ideas!

[Steven suddenly barges into the house and runs around looking for Pearl, a mysterious finger trap clasped onto his pointer finger. He looks nothing less than excited, though.]

Pearl! Pearl? Where are you, Pearl? You've gotta check this out!

[stickupherforehead]

Steven? [she's looking up from the sink, in the middle of drying some dishes] Is everything alright?

[jamminshield]

Almost! But for everything to be super perfectly alright, I just need your finger real quickly! [He comes to a stop near her, bouncing up and down a bit, and pointing right at her with the finger trap.]

[stickupherforehead]

[oh good. You're whole, not maimed, and not in distress! She's going to put this in the 'silly antics' category.

Pearl laughs a little and extends her hand towards you.]

Which one?

[jamminshield]

[Aren't you proud of him?? He was alone for an extended period of time without any of those things happening! Aside from getting his finger stuck, but he does not quite see the problem of that yet.

Steven smiles excitedly. Pearl is willingly entertaining his antics! He just loves it when she does that. He wiggles the finger trap on his right pointer finger in her direction.]

Um, your pointer finger! Just stick it right in this hole for a second. It will be great!

[stickupherforehead]

[it must be one of those human things. It seems harmless enough and it seems to be making you happy, so] Alright, Steven.

[and in goes her finger! Huh. This is mildly constricting.] Now what?

[jamminshield]

I don't know!! [He exclaims that cheerily, as if this is a Good Thing.]

Lars told me that when someone puts their finger in the other end, that's when the real fun begins! Isn't that exciting?!

[stickupherforehead]

I see. [........] It's not doing anything.

[she moves her hand, as if to pull her finger out but...it seems like your hand is moving too.]

Steven, is it supposed to be doing that?

[jamminshield]

Maybe? [He laughs.]

I have no idea what it's supposed to do! Isn't that neat? [He tries tugging his finger back playfully in response.]

[stickupherforehead]

[and yup, it's definitely stuck. Magically so or this would be solved way too quickly. What a nefarious monster of the week.]

This makes no sense! I don't see [and she's trying to bring their hand up to her eye level so she can squint at it] any mechanisms that would keep us trapped like this!

[jamminshield]

[Clearly the most nefarious... but Steven continues to look innocent about the situation. And like he's having fun.]

You don't need mechanisms when you're having a good time! Maybe we just gotta move our fingers the right way to get out, Pearl!

[stickupherforehead]

[wellllll, she was going to take something sharp to it, but at least she's learned to try it your way first. Plus c'mon, it's a simple human toy. It can't be that complicated. Right?]
