[He giggles bashfully and bats a hand at the air.]

Nuh-uh! No other girls are anything like you. [He's never felt inspired to drop lines like these before!]

[God these two flirts. If the triplets were watching they'd probably be gagging.

But she just smiles and flips her hair a little.]

Well of course—you'll be hard pressed to find anything who could match me. [Half-serious, half-joking around a bit.] But those girls are missing out. It's going to be tough finding a sweet, earnest guy like you out there.

[duckflails]

[Luckily, they're spared from this nauseating sight. Donald watches attentively, envious of her confidence.]

Aw shucks! [He ducks his head and pulls his hat down a little in response.]

Now you're really flattering me!

[hearshisvoice]

It's not flattery, it's true.

[She leans over a bit to try and peek at him from under the hat.]

I'm sure you have other quirks and habits, but I know at least that much.

[Even though this is their second meeting, the circumstances from the gala revealed a lot of what's important about Donald. Even if he's not perfect, she likes what she sees so far.]

[duckflails]

[He glances up towards her, slowly raising his head and his gaze back towards her.]

When you say it, I feel like it has to be true! Thanks, Daisy. I'll try my best not to disappoint you!

[hearshisvoice]

I don't think you have to worry about that.

[There's a light, genuine smile before a wild breeze kicks up and a low, light misting spray from the water rushing against against the shore. At least this time nothing flies off! But she is reminded of the time and what they were doing.]

I still have a little more time left before I head back. Wanna continue the walk?

[He couldn't ask for a lovelier atmosphere, and a sweeter person to share it with. He closes his eyes and gives a relaxed sigh as the sea breeze blows at his feathers. Something about it is always relaxing! Just like Daisy's presence is - when he doesn't feel nervous, that is.

Donald answers her with a soft nod.]

Sure! I'm enjoying this a lot. I'll take all the time you can give!

[hearshisvoice]

[It really is nice, isn't it? Would be a shame if something terrible happened..... Kidding. Poor guy deserves a break future however—

With all the hectic stress that's involved with Glamour, Daisy is really enjoying and appreciating the nice atmosphere between them, with Donald's company the best part.

And so they continue their lovely little walk there's one thing she has to ask that's been on her mind.]

So why do you wear that sailor's uniform?

[duckflails]

[What he deserves is not always what he gets! Or sometimes he gets exactly what he deserves. Of course, terrible things can happen at any moment!

Donald keeps on taking in the atmosphere, while the warm sand gradually cools beneath his feet while the day nears its end. At her question, he just shrugs.]

Why wouldn't I? I'm a sailor at heart!

[hearshisvoice]

[He should have at least one day. Everyone knows bad luck during a date is a lot worse.

She stares blankly at him for a moment at his answer before she breaks up laughing.]

Haha, I was wondering if there was some other reason, but it really is something simple like that.

[It's a goodnatured laugh, though! She's not trying to make fun of it! And when she stops she gives him another coy, teasing glance.]

But I like it. A girl always likes a guy who can look good in a uniform.

[...Could use a few stitches here and there, but with the right touches he really could cut a sharp figure in it.]

[duckflails]

[He chuckles sheepishly.]

It's also really comfy to wear? I have other clothes too, I swear!

[Of course, her compliments continue to leave him a mix of bashful and confident. He puffs up his chest and adjusts his hat.]

Aw shucks. Well here I am!

[hearshisvoice]

Hmm... [She stops mid-step to look him over with a scrutinizing eye.] I wonder if how well you'd do as a model...

[duckflails]

A- a model?! [He tries to hold his pose, but now he starts to look shyer.]

I never thought about that kinda stuff. I'm a little too plain!

[hearshisvoice]

[Well not with that face—

But she just laughs.]

I don't mean like a runway model, but just to help try on some of the male clothing I design. A mannequin can only do so much.

[duckflails]

[Clearly that's the face that belongs on the cover of every magazine-

Donald only gets blushier.]

Oh, that's good! I'd be more of a tripway model... [He admits with a sheepish chuckle.] B-but I'd be happy to try on any of those clothes. It'd be an honor!

[hearshisvoice]

If you don't mind, I could even touch up or fix any clothes you have that may be damaged or need a bit of stitching. [She reaches over to finger a fraying thread around one of his buttons.]

With all that adventuring you've done, I'm sure your wardrobe would have seen better days.

[OH IDEA.]

Maybe I can even design something for you and your family!

[See that light sparkle in her eyes? She's getting inspired.]

Really? You're being too nice now! [He says with a sheepish wave of his hand.] I do have a lot of clothes that have seen better days...

[He's a bit embarrassed to admit that, but, it's part of the life of Donald Duck, especially coming from an adventuring family.]

Something for all of us? [He chimes excitedly.] That would be so cute! Especially if I could get everyone to stand still for a family picture! [Hopefully without any magical wish-related shenanigans this time.]

[hearshisvoice]

Oh it's nothing much. [Just a small, dismissive wave of her hand.] It would give me more practice on a different style and maybe I could get some inspiration. Of course there is my schedule, but I can at least take a look when I visit your houseboat.

[Just dropping that like a casual reminder ah ha ha...]

Is it really that hard getting them together for one?

[duckflails]

R-right! Yeah! We can do that! Wh-when I give you the grand tour!! [Which will be right after he cleans the houseboat from top to bottom, and maybe he should do it at a time while everyone else is out adventuring-

He gives a weary, but fond sigh as he thinks back to family pictures past.]

A lot harder than it should be! Either the kids are up to something, or something messes up the picture, or it gets interrupted by some adventure or attack... A lot can go wrong! [And yet, there's something that still feels right about a lot of those pictures. Like Goofy reminded him, every family has their own normal. ...But he'd still like just one nice, proper, formal picture!]

[hearshisvoice]

[She will be so impressed by the unnatural state of his home&mdsah;

Wait, a family photo interrupted by an attack is he trying in a dangerous place?? She can only stare at him in some disbelief. The first two things sounded pretty normal but the rest...]

That's, uh. That really does sound pretty difficult. But kind of fun. I can't remember the last time I had a family photo.

[duckflails]

[Look, these are just ordinary days for the Duck family. Here in Duckberg, life can often be of a hurricane-like nature.]

You can't? That's a shame. [He doesn't want to pry into her personal or family life. But he hopes she can feel the joy of a family photo well taken.] Y-you're always welcome to join us for one!

[He's sure the others won't mind. ...Even if pretty much all of them will tease him incessantly about her.]

[hearshisvoice]

[There's a slight look of surprise before there's a teasing smile.]

My, Donald, we haven't even had a proper date yet and you're already inviting me to your family photos? How bold of you.

[Normally she'd think something like that way too fast, but she doesn't really feel that way. A little awkward, sure. She hasn't actually met his family so even though she's teasing him now, she'd still be hesitant on that front.]

[duckflails]

[The teasing is super effective! He's quickly back to being flustered.]

I- I didn't mean it like that, I swear! [He waves his feathered hands in denial.] I just thought it'd be nice to, to welcome you to join us!

[hearshisvoice]

[She continues to hold that look before it cracks into a laugh.]

Haha, I know, I know! [She then calms and smiles.] And I appreciate the thought, but maaaybe we should wait and see how things pan out, hm?

[Look only an idiot would say they didn't already like each other, but still would be better to see how things go.

So like after the second date, should be totally fine—]

[duckflails]

Of course, of course! [He quickly waves his hands to push away his suggestion.] I- I don't wanna rush anything!

[And things are turning out so well so far that he keeps on expecting some other shoe to drop. He knows his bad luck can mess everything up somehow, and he's ready for it to happen at every moment! Because right now, things feel good enough that he feels luckier than Gladstone.

Smiling, he holds up his phone.]

What if we just take a selfie for now? A-are we ready for that?
