New Dangan Ronpa V3: The Voice Test Post!

Warning: This post and the threads within may have and/or imply spoilers for New Danganronpa V3! So one should only proceed if you've either finished the game or are fine with the risk of being spoiled!

This post is for the purpose of voicetesting two potential characters from Danganronpa V3:



Simply choose a character, and either write up or request a starter! Some potential memes and other scenarios to draw inspiration from can include:

- Random Scenario Meme
- Scenario Generator
- Caught in the Rain
- Train to the Afterlife
- Jamjar Meme
- Pokémon AU
- Talent Development Project AU

Or try something else! My limits are that I won't play smut, and I also wish to avoid excessively grimdark scenarios. Also with Gonta, I'd prefer to avoid threads that just consist entirely of him being manipulated, especially to an extent resembling what happened in canon.

Gonta; in the rain #6 because YAY RIVERS

[ She was only supposed to deliver a part to a neighboring town, and while she'd done that with aplomb, the rain had already started and gotten well underway before she'd even headed out. Heading back after a successful delivery has actually been thwarted by the river-- because it sure is swollen now, and Tita is not a very big thirteen-year-old. Nowhere near big enough to risk wading through it, because it'd end up more like a very desperate swim.

... But this is the fastest way to get home. Hence why she's standing there uncertainly on the soggy bank, already soaked.

Dilemma. ]

RIVERS OF OUR TEARS

[It was a really bad rainstorm! Gonta had spent some time inside tending to his insects, but once he was sure that they were fine, he went outside to look for anyone he could help, either human or insect.

Of course, a gentleman tries not to get drenched by rainfall, so he's wielding an umbrella just large enough to cover him. But it's not long before he spots something alarming.

A small girl!! Drenched in the rainfall! That's too sad! Gonta immediately lumbers towards her tries to stand above her so that, between his tallness and the umbrella, she can get a respite from the rain. He looks down at her with an expression etched with concern.]

What's wrong?? Are you okay?? [A true gentleman - a true Gonta! - must help her however he can!]

WHO'S CRYING

[minorcannon]

[ She notices the absence of water falling on her head before she realizes the reason behind that-- and as Tita tilts her head back and... back and back and backhuge.

But unlike most delicate maidens her age (who aren't members of evil organizations), Tita is more surprised than alarmed. She's used to guys the size and build of bears, so this isn't anything too shocking or frightening, and it's why she replies within a few startled seconds. ]

U-um, I'm okay-- [ well, she's cold and wet, but she's been in worse conditions. ] But the river's flooded, and that's how I get home...

NO ONE BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS ALRIGHT NOTHING BAD EVER HAPPENED

[mushinshi]

[He's relieved to get a prompt response. She's okay! That's good. But she's still soaked, and she does have one problem...]

The river? [It is clear to see that the river looks flooded and dangerous, and he gives out a slight gasp as he tries to imagine her crossing it.]

Ah! It's too dangerous to go alone! [He says, trying to warn her. But there is one solution that comes to mind. Gonta looks back to her with a slight smile.]

Let Gonta help you! Gonta can make it... Gonta wants to help!

[A gentleman shouldn't get his clothes wet unnecessarily. But if it's to help a lady, then that's a worthy cause!]

DAMN STRAIGHT

[minorcannon]

E-eh?

[ Wait. Wait, no-- ]

But you'll get all wet!!

[ And you won't drown, Tita.

But. Priorities. ]

Sorry about the lateness!

[mushinshi]

[Gonta's smile widens as he tries to reassure her.]

That's okay! Gonta will get wet to help the nice girl cross the river all safe. It's what gentlemen do!

you're fine!

[minorcannon]

... [ well, she's going to have to admit there's no way she can get across on her own, so... ]

T-then you'll have to let me help you dry off.

[ As firmly as she can. ]

[mushinshi]

[Gonta thinks it over for a moment! He shouldn't make a lady do work... but he also has tp respect her wishes! Soon, he reaches his answer with a nod.]

Okay. You don't have to, but if you want, you can help Gonta!

[minorcannon]

I want to!

[ SHE IS SAYING THIS INSTANTLY. ]

[She's so determined! Gonta looks surprised for a moment, but then he smiles in agreement.]

Okay! It's a deal!

[With that, he squats down as much as he can, while still holding the umbrella up above his head.]

Now... climb on Gonta's back!

[minorcannon]

O-okay!!

[ ... it is actually going to take her some effort because he is actually very big and broad and Tita is not the biggest thirteen-year-old. But all the same, she'll slowly clamber onto his back, and pat his shoulder when she's settled. ]

Um... also sorry for not saying anything earlier, but my name's Tita. Thank you very much for helping me, Gonta.

[mushinshi]

[It might have been a tough climb, but she made it! And now they can both be under the umbrella.]

It's okay! Nice to meet you, Tita. Gonta should have introduced himself first... Gonta's name is Gonta Gokuhara!

[Receiving her signal, Gonta rises to his full height, like a living elevator with fluffy hair.]

You're welcome! Gonta's happy to help!

[And then he looks towards the river, steeling himself as he prepares to make his move!]

[ she could have guessed that, given how he talks, but... you know, she's fine with this, patting his shoulder and hunkering down. ]
